Boxing needs a complete overhaul of the whole system but that is not going to happen anyway anytime soon.
That last part especially true - the judging controversies over the decades do/have done immeasurably more harm to the sport than anything Logan Paul/KSI could do in their lifetimes, that plus all the promoter shenangigans. 'Boxing Integrity' might even be an oxymoron (not casting any shadow on the boxers themselves who put their lives on the line, more the system they have to compete in).

I don't think it does anything for boxing. Their fans will drop off the DAZN subscription after the fight ends, and we will be back to square 1.

Its a 50-50 fight and I doubt one is taking a dive unlike that Canelo-Kovalev farce.

The 24/7s they did were actually "normal" and better than that DJ Khalid bullchit they put together for Canelo-Kov.

Well, it draws attention to the fact that boxing is the ultimate in challenging someone, but I've no interest in watching it.

It's very embarassing, to Saunders and Haney, who are two of the best fighters in their divisions, and world champions, to fight on the undercard of guys who gained fame from youtube. I once read of this Logan Paul, about the video in the forest that he shouldn't have uploaded. Other than that, I don't know who he is. Ksi? Who?
Apparently many know of them, but c'mon, they ain't no damn boxing headliner.

The fight is entertainment with newer fan bases,so no...your post isn't logical bc its not possible when the sport grows ,how is it going down the toilet ?

About 70 % of the posters cry like women on here about DAZN anyway, change the channel then. lol

Guys who've trained and fought their entire lives are going to play second fiddle to manufactured youtuber beef. I'd say it's embarrassing.

Boxing needs newer fans, yes, but rather than just a push for subscriptions for a streaming service using YouTube kids why don’t the promoters actually do some real promoting of real fight cards with real champions, contenders, and up and comers? It’s the actual art of promotion that has been lost. I see most of it being done by FOX the network rather than ANY promoter. Where are the boxing video games? I remember mike Tyson’s punchout....evander Holyfield on Sega.....foreman had a boxing game.....Where are the boxers peddling products on network tv like foreman with his grill? Leonard with his 7Up commercials?
The problem is so few of the leading boxers right now have personality and personality is what pushes a boxers popularity. We know who is billed as the “face of boxing” in old boxing media, but that face has no ability or desire to speak English and is as boring as klitschko was in and out of the ring.
There are problems with boxing these days, and you get the sense that the PBC-Fox/Showtime, Dazn, Espn-Top Rank boom may not last especially since the overpaying is over.
Promoters need to start spending some money on traditional promotion rather than hoping social media tweets and YouTube videos can do it all.....and the boxers themselves need to understand they are their best own promotion.... of he only fighters who seem to get this are wilder, fury, and the atrocious Broner

It's good for boxing. Millennials don't know **** about boxing anyway. So to present them with something they're totally into is not bad. Hell, I do not for a split second doubt floyd Mayweather will want easy money on fighting the winner. Millennials will buy that fight too!!

I don’t really think it does anything except get DAZN some subscribers for a month and everyone makes some quick money.

It’s neither good or bad. Things move quickly, it’ll be old news next week and boxing will be back where it was.

As for the likes of Saunders & Haney on the undercard, they’re only on so Hearn and the broadcasters especially can justify putting it on. The reality is that all the Youtuber fans will probably not be paying any attention until they’re about to fight, but it’s a nice payday for the real fighters for pretty easy fights. The reality is that it’s not going to grow the sport like Hearn says and the pro boxers on the card aren’t going to gain loads of fans. On the flipside, it’s not really going to hurt the sport either.
