Apparently many know of them, but c'mon, they ain't no damn boxing headliner.
You’re right but they have 20m followers each.

Maybe youtube celebrities isn’t your world, it isn’t mine either. But to be honest, if two big musicians that we are fans of or whatever were going to get in the ring for a fight, we would watch, even if out of curiosity.

So if i look at it of the perspective of the tens of millions of people who are interested in that youtube celebrity world, then i fully understand why lots of people will tune in.

As for the pro fighters on the bill, Haney is getting $1m, BJS just a bit less. Both for relatively easy defences on paper. Nice work if you can get it. $1m is nothing to be sniffed at for these fighters who aren’t on Canelo money.

I think it's fine to have an event like this and get some younger people watching and enjoying boxing.

Plenty of us have seen some downright AWFUL cards that were dubbed professional - cards full of robberies and boring/farcical action between distant relatives (eg Rahman vs Barrett PPV if ppl remember that ****).

These two had some kind of beef and took it to the ring, that's the right thing in trying to settle it...ended up making some $$ from it. Why not

This entire format is getting awkward. I'm not sure that this is a smart move by DAZN. Mexicans will not take to this ****ery. This entire thing is starting to feel cheesy.

Contests like this and silly cards like Amir Khan 'fighting' for millions of £s against a finished guy three weight divisons down simply can't be good for the sport.Boxing is a serious sport and dangerous to boot every effort must be in place to see that every angle is covered as much as can be and a silly grudge match for millions and a silly mismatch for milions can't be good for the sport. There's tens of thousands of fighters out there in the world trying to work their way up the order mostly fighting for free at the start of a pro carrrer to reach their dreams of wealth and legacy. This is the grass roots of our sport and the future these 'nothing contests' only make a mockery of this ......period!

Not at all. The new eyes on the sport narrative is false. Haney and saunders didnt gain new fans last night, the youtubers were going mad online about ksi and logan paul selling out. They didnt want to see any pro fighters on the Bill
