The IBO have one thing going for them. They don't have the power to damage the sport like the WBC is doing.

Lol yeah they have 4 known champs it appears. Ruiz Jr, Eubanks Jr (debatable) GGG and JRock

also their feather champ has one of the hardest looking names to pronounce I've seen. So many consonants... Tugstsogt Nyambayar. I'll just call him Tugboat

I don't even understand why the IBO gets more attention than other **** belts like the WBF or IBA, so on, there's a bunch.

Far as the WBC and ****, you can't make the WBC not matter by adding sanctioning bodies to the big four. it'll just be the big five.

The BBBoC, IBU, and NYSAC in that order are the first sanctioning bodies.

The NBA comes as a reaction, if anyone could kill the WBC it was the NBA and they tried.

The first three beat the NBA until WWII, then 2/3rds of them are in shambles and NYC despite being the mecca wasn't big enough to offset the rest of the US and Europe controlled by the NBA.

The NBA only became the WBA to reflect it's control over the world.

The WBC formed out of the BBBoC, EBU, and NYSAC to survive the WBA and pool their efforts in rivaling the WBA.

early 70s WBC is seen as a new body to rival the WBA but it really wasn't, it was actually three older bodies coming together to rival the WBA.

As the WBC grows in power the WBA has internal problem ans splits, IBF is born.

WBC continues to grow and add affiliated orgs. The WBA and IBF fight for affiliation amongst the orgs they used to control.

The WBA was super massive, they have another internal struggle and the WBO is formed.

Against the WBC grows while the IBF and WBO diminish the WBA.

Today, the WBA, I think, is still the biggest. The WBC is clearly second, the IBF and WBO are still lucky to be there.

That said what is the IBO gonna do? Their affiliation don't affect anyone, and, the only way any body gets elevated is if the already elevated bodies claim their belt is equal. The IBO needs the WBC to say the WBC title is equal to the IBO.

Currently, WBA-S = WBC = IBF = WBO across the board, they all agree. No one says the IBO = anything.

What we need is some force to behoove the four we have to combine into less, not add another and have them fight for local affiliates. Because at this point the WBC and WBA just make new ones. If the IBF grabs a WBA affiliate, which they have, the WBA just makes a new one, they don't need an already functioning affiliate in the area because they have the money, power, and connection globally to do it themselves. And even if they didn't no one is in the position the NBA had over the old big four. Even if somehow, someway, they were fighting for affiliates you just don't have anything powerful enough in this system to eliminate.

In all honesty, the WBC-WBA-IBF-and WBO ought to form one bigger body, let me call it the ABB, all boxing body. The ABB would have single titles above the WBC/WBA/IBF/WBO and their titles would become unterbelts. Basically, making an official avenue for undisputed champion. You can't even fight for an ABB without a big four title to get you there. Once a big four title holder has his title if he didn't unify to get it he's on a schedule mandos and unis. Basically like the reg to super, the super has mandos, the reg has mandos, but they are meant to unify once the mandos are clear.

Under this, currently, the winner of Joshua-Ruiz would have a mando to clear up then a uni to clear, or, be stripped.
