    a couple things here.

    1. DAZN has no problem shaming the sport of boxing, putting established world champions on the undercard, or delaying the biggest star in boxing from entering the ring to keep the UFC bosses happy

    2. So what if they are making $900,000, stop hating they sold tickets, and will sell PPVs, they have huge fan bases, they are being low balled in my opinion given the numbers. A show with this type of talent, and presumed viewing audience, the headliners should be making at least $3 million plus upside

    3. This could start a trend of celeb matches, in making it the showcase attraction, DAZN is altering the composition of the sport because they are desperate for subscribers, other networks could follow suit

It's an all around bad look for DAZN. 900k for the youtubers is wasting your $$$ and resources, disrespecting boxers/boxing in general. Making boxing look bad AGAIN by bowing down to the UFC after saying that PPV is dead, and there are no cross-over fans from the UFC. Overpaying guys like canelo/GGG, and those guys are not bringing in the views that they had hoped (canelo/kovalev numbers were bad). Increasing the price of the subscription after signing GGG who was not worth the $$$, and proceed to give him equity(WTF!?!?!). Poor quality in their streams, and just a bad commentary team. DAZN is a walking contradiction, and they are not going to last very long if they continue overpaying people and making bad decisions.

Haney the only guy getting overpaid. Those YouTubers actually bring in interest.

Why are they paid so much money?
Popular youtubers with teens and twenty somethings. Show business I guess? Devin Haney is always worth watching though.

Because they have millions of followers. They're being paid for exposure.

It's all a sign of the times. Social media influencers and show business. In regards to real pro fighters, I think fans want to see the day where there is only one world champion per division. Not everyone can pull Mayweather ppv $$$, fighters are less active and it's hard to get the best in with the best. Frustrating sport!!!!!!!!

Wow . I'm genuinely more shocked at Haney earning that. Eddie can be a strange lad sometimes . Saunders'turn without the vasaline

Considering this is not including Sky sports ppv which could easily do 700-900k, these people are making Ps for real.

Devin Haney getting a million is crazy, for a gimme fight. Same with BJS.
