Tank is well on his way to becoming a Superstar which is very RARE at that weight to become a Headliner and a Big Draw. Of course the big fights are coming but people will use it against him to hate him and bash him until those fights start happeningTevin Farmer had a standing offer for $2m to fight Davis on Showtime, with his DAZN deal up (DiBella has a great relationship with Ellerbe/Haymon that if the money was low, that could've been rather easily turned into a piece of the event.
On top of that, Berchelt, Herring, and regular WBA champion Cancio, couldn't sell out the 8k-seat Dignity Health, while Davis is working with 20k-seat basketball arenas, and Top Rank isn't sending anyone anywhere.
Davis will have this December fight in front of a pretty well packed arena, hopefully win, and will likely line up a blockbuster clash with Leo Santa Cruz by Spring 2020 (potentially on PPV), and the build will continue.Comment

He is training as we speak... Floyd found a guy who is serious about giving Gervanta a good solid challenge and get him in a place he belongs in his career. Frankly I don't see a problem Gervantes is just taking it slow, preserving that ole goose egg. And this guy he is fighting means business!!

EXACTLY correct.Bradley ended his career with a great pedrigree but at similar points in their careers the best fighter he had faced was Junior Witter. If Tank was on Espn Bradley would be talking about how much trouble Gamboa gave Crawford and how he's still dangerous and shouldn't be taken lightly.Comment

didnt we both agree awhile back that winning a "world title" today is pretty easy and kind of cheap??...i mean it kind of is...so alot of guys can say that but it means little in the grand scheme....we know who the "champs" are...Really strange rebuttal....okay?
EDIT - Couldn't help but notice that in those 20 fights when they were Tanks age, they weren't calling themselves "multiple time world champions" so maybe it has something to do with that? Claiming to be a 2x world champion while still claiming youre too young to face a challenge?
No, it's Floyd.Comment

Yeah, we did agree on that, and we still do agree.
But I still believe that once you have one of those world titles, you shouldn't be holding it hostage while you continue to get better. Should be moving up the ranks and getting better.Comment
