    Ward Kovalev 3.3 million gate
Ward kovalev 2.2 million gate rematch

Canelo vs Kovalev 8.1 million gate

Whom else is hitting 8.1 million gate in two fights in the same year? So then we resort to, ''DAZN doesn't know what its doing.'' numbers or general interest don't lie.

Let's all acknowlege that fighting on shietty Dazn is a big factor in the declining ticket sales and lack of buzz. Unlike multi-platform broadcast or cable networks like Fox, HBO, and Espn, they have zero other media outlets they can use to build up the fight. It's just a shietty standalone app that appeals to hardcore fans only and doesn't reach casuals. No PPV's means even the fighters and promoters themselves have no incentive to go out of their way to promote the fight since they get paid a set fee regardless and no PPV upsides. Plus no more shoulder programming and pre-fight marketing and hype shows by the cable and dish providers.

Add it all up and Canelo's mainstream exposure is much less now than when he was fighting on HBO and Showtime. Dazn's business model is fatally flawed. They'll need to either drastically reduce costs (purses), expand into other sports (boxing gets relegated to lower on the totem pole), or go under or get bought out.

That was Floyd's retirement fight and his 49-0 exit. Hey how's Floyd managing that ''superstar'' guy of yours you coin, Tank Davis?

Since we're on the subject of Superstars

There is no value for any company to "overspend" which DAZN themselves admits has not been helpful for them because everyone is now looking for big money.

Chavez Jr is getting $6 million for Jacobs, who is getting more than that obviously. They are pissing money away.

And what does Andy Ruiz have to do with anything? He's a PBC fighter and heading back to Fox or Showtime - win or lose against Joshua.
It ain't your money punk so stop worrying about how someone else spend's their money!

You sound ****** as **** saying things like that!
Also an 8 million gate is good as fucc so again you sound ****** as fucc saying nonsense!
So bow down to Canelo punk! He is the face of Boxing. FACTS!
PBC boys are hurtin! They're trying to justify that back to back gate sales from Canelo in 2019, $8.5 million x 2 was bad. lol

That's 16.8 million live gate for Canelo in 2019.

Canelo vs Golovkin retmatch had a live gate of $23,473,000

They try to flip it that Canelo needs GGG when we see how GGG sells without Canelo...

The difference in live gate from Canelo's 2019 year vs Canelo's rematch with GGG is $6.6 million.

the PBC shills will say, ''but but...''

Again, it's GBP that has to set that fire under DAZN, the same way Arum has Fury out there, and the PBC has fighters showing up at football games.

I think I know how to fix what is wrong with DAZN but I am just some guy and I definitely ain't getting paid for it so...

What did they think was going to happen...real fans knew this was nothing but a calculated risk and there was also a better fight going on in the UFC. Sad to say but boxing took the backseat to UFC for this event.

It says it in the article. The revenue is 68% less than his Golovkin fights. Both them need each other.

You quoted me saying Rolls and Devry. You are confused.

They made the fatal mistake in marketing of going where the people are not. And DAZN made the mistake of throwing money out of desperation. Good for Canelo because his money is made regardless, but terrible for everyone else
