Nobody cares. We’re not going on a date with him. As boxing fans we just want to see him in the ring fighting the best. Which he has done since he entered the ring vs Austin Trout.

Honestly his first big step up was not Trout, so many people disagree with me but I honestly thought it was 154 #4 ranked Ryan Rhodes. After that it would’ve been Victor Ortiz but he failed to get past Josesito Lopez, so Lopez got the Canelo fight. And the fight that was signed and sealed but didn’t happen, Canelo vs Paul Williams. So Canelo-Trout happened, followed by Mayweather. This guy...

Damn...Canelo is really all about fighting the best. I can’t believe some boxing groups hate him.

Ironically, the people who make fun of GGG the most for that are Canelo fans...

It’s because he sounds silly speaking English and he knows it. Better to let someone translate

He sounds like a little kid

He speaks and understands English very well. I was watching backstage footage of the weigh in and he's speaking English to the people around him.

When you see him on TV he's speaking to his people. Ask anyone who speaks Spanish and they'll understand. The translation we get don't hit like it does when he says it in Spanish. Canelo stays on code with his people.

IDK why he can speak it at least on the level as kovalev I believe. even in one of the prefights pre-recorded segments he started to answer in english but caught himself and chose to go back to spanish. I think he not gonn abreak out his english till its perfect and Its probably never gonna be so we might never see it purposely.

He spoke decent English when he was at the msg off camera after weighing in vs rocky fielding. Maybe he is more comfortable speaking Spanish as it’s his native language.

He said a few words of english in post Kovalev fight interview. Sounded pretty good.

I've read the same a while back. He understands english and can actually speak it but he wants his english to reach a certain level before he speaks it in public.
