Is that supposed to be a plus for the diva?
That was a 155 lb fight with Alvarez contracted to weigh no more than 168 on fight night.
The diva came in at 174 and had to pay el Perro, 100K.

I like how ruedboy creates lies to trick readers on this board. Those are called lil’G phaggots and they exist.

The bout was originally set to take place at 154 pounds, but was upped to 155 pounds at the request of the Alvarez camp just prior to the weigh-in. Alvarez, who earned a minimum $1.25 million, agreed to pay Angulo an additional $100,000, raising his purse to $850,000. Alvarez further agreed to a weight check at 3 p.m. ET on the day of the fight at which he could not weigh more than 168 pounds.

How about Rocky Fielding...JCC Jr etc...or are we hyping those fights up now lol...all fighters take 'tune-ups' 1 out of 3 or so fights at best...if people don't see that they aren't paying attention really

Are you saying you thought Golovkin didn't receive criticism for fighting Rolls...?

        Man, that's fkn hilarious.

But, meh... far as I'm concerned Ginger Kid can fight who he wants, I'm more interested in the up n comers anyways.

It will never be ok for Canelo to take that kind of a tuneup he’s held to different standards

If it's a lie it wasn't of Ruedboys doing. Unless you're saying he may have been mistaken about the details of the $ penalty. Ambrose reported Canelo at 174 against Angulo. Whether he was telling the truth I've no way of knowing. Do you have some proof he was lying?

              Who is GGG fighting next?
Yeah. Only Canelo is expected to fight one tough fight after another.

Meanwhile Crawford fights Kavaliuskas next. Lomachenko is on a British bum hunting spree facing the Crollas and Campbells of the world.

And Golovkin plans to attract new subscribers to DAZN by fighting Kamil Szeremeta.

C'mon dude. You're smarter than this...haven't you learned how writers twist information?

Is a 3PM weigh in a morning weigh in?

                Morning Weigh in = 10lbs usual cap (155 + 10 = 165lbs)

                3PM weigh in = 168 - 155 = 13lbs

Is it impossible for a fighter to hydrate 3lbs after a morning weigh in? It's obvious both teams knew this, so they basically said Canelo can't exceed 13lbs by 3PM.

You guys forgot, Angulo and Canelo could be whatever in the ring. Angulo big too.

Steve Rolls absolutely decimates clownelo, it won't even be a close fight.

Perro was a big dog. How he made 154/5 I'll never know, he sure as hell never got close again - in fact he never even made MW after fighting Canelo. I ain't claiming Canelo had a size advantage, I was merely saying that you had no place calling ruedboy a liar.

Of course he's a liar. Read what he wrote, are those facts? I didn't even bother reading that boxinnews24 article it'd be all fluff. They could weigh whatever on fight night.

And regarding Angulo. Abel Sanchez has always said that Angulo was their best sparring for GGG. LOok who Angulo is training with today...Angulo always been team GGG, it's why he always had a thing against Canelo, especially after that massive beating that altered his career. GGG never wanted to fight Canelo at 155. We all know why, he wrecked his sparring partner viciously.

Angulo was once upon a time a 154 force. Wrecked Gabe Rosado like no one's business and had a good scrap while it lasted with the Mandigo Warrior
