Why did Inoue Struggle with Donaire?

Why did Inoue struggle so much with Donaire?

Respect to Donaire he's a former FOTY and hall of famer but hes pushing 40! been in ton of wars and didn't look great in his last 4 plus fights.

Everyone was saying Inoue was gonna blow ND away?

    What happened?

Did Inoue overtrain? remember he was running like crazy miles like marathons and hes been in camp since his last fight right?

Did Inoue respect ND too much? Did he just not wanna KO him? WTF?

Anyways great fight for the fans.

Donaire looked to be a slightly bigger guy which had to have helped.

Because when the best fight the best, shit happens.

He got cut and Donaire looked about 15lbs bigger.

          He still won comfortably.

            I'm deadly serious.
You guys need to stop hyping up midgets and punchers everytime they come along.

If you think this guys p4p anything or even close to being one of the best fighters in the sport you frankly don't know wtf you're watching.

Because he has zero defense and moved up to fight the first decent opponent and looked vulnerable. Stop overrating guys with power especially when they are knocking out low level of opponents. This was his first test. Inoue needs to work on defense he gets hit clean with big shots and has a reckless style. He was leaking bad from eye and nose legs wobbled numerous times and had to hold on to recover. As you move up or fight better opponents if you don't fix that defense he will get knocked out.

Why did Evander Holyfield struggle with a journeyman like Bert Cooper and old guy like George Foreman and Larry Holmes?
Why did Erik Morales struggle with and old Daniel Zaragoza?
Why did Oscar de la Hoya struggle with a coked out Pernell Whitaker?

That's what happens when the young up and comer faces former champs and future HOF fighters. This was an example of a passing of the torch fight.

This is his first step up in competition, this is a perfect example of how an "eye test" falls short. He was hurt in the 9th round, he looked vulnerable. He's about to enter the Top Rank protection program. We won't see him fight elite talent for the next 2-3 years.
