you said a near 40yo shot fighter, yet Donaire fought his way into the final of the tournament. GTFOH. Your opinion is garbage.

      Exactly....
      1. Poor Headmovement (Average Defense)
      2. Average fighting backwards.. He just throws jab but cant fight as well coming forward
      3. If you counter him and fight back he cant throw his flurries which limits his attack and prompts him to fight more cautiously
      4. Is open to counters at all time (Right Hands especially) He ate a ton of Counters from Donaire
      5. Overrated Power... Inoue did hurt donaire, but his power was overhyped.. Its the combination of his speed and timing plus landing clean shots.. That all adds up

Donaire exposed major flaws in his game... Only fanboys and apologists would disagree but Inoue is a hypejob nothing more

I never expected him to have good footwork or avoid shots well. The guy is japanese. You ever seen a japanese guy who looked coordinated or like he had finesse. That being said, The Monster beat a HOF fighter.

The slickest japanese fighter I've ever seen was Yoko Gushiken, and he wasn't even that slick, but he was damn good.
