He's been fighting for over a decade, mostly against bums. He's been a champion for nearly 5 of those years, and wouldn't even unify for $100m or $120m. Gee, I wonder why so many boxing fans don't like him?

I asked about the Stiverne fight because that fight was in Vegas.

How much did Wilder sell against Stiverne in his Vegas debut? Was it more or less than Fury's debut? Let us know, thanks.
it was more for wilder actually

but i thought fury was the reason that wilder/fury sold in the first place and that more people know fury than they do wilder? thats what the anti wilder crowd tells us...

Some of y’all would snort the coke off fury’s crack before you have the same hate for him when his last opponents weren’t even in the top ten.

Yet give wilder so much grief, while praising fury, saying, “his last opponent is better than expected and did you see the cut he fought with?! Omg fury for president”

the anti wilder crowd told us "more people in the US know fury more than they know wilder....fury is the reason fury/wilder sold"

then say "oh how well did wilder sell in vegas against stiverne"...which was years ago.....meanwhile fury is pulling 3k against otto wallin lol

The exact same way he fought the first fight minus getting lazy.

If you watch the first fight Ortiz had Wilder on ***** street for an entire round. The following round Ortiz got a little bit lazy defensively (probably because he thought Wilder was dead in the water), and Wilder popped him.

In the fights since Ortiz 1 it has become very clear that Wilder has an excellent right hand but that's ALL that he has.

Expect Ortiz to fight with that in mind.

The only concern on my end is that Wilder was ahead on the cards against Ortiz in their first fight - which was a joke as Ortiz shouldve been up at least 2 rounds. Nonetheless Ortiz has good odds in this fight

Ortiz did not get lazy. He is just old and fat.

I agree with you to some degree, but I also think that Ortiz really gassed out in the later rounds — more than just getting lazy. I think Wilder is deceptively good and recovers REALLY well from being out on his feet, but he IS only a one-trick pony offensively.

I too hope that Ortiz wins, but I am NOT optimistic.
