Comments Thread For: Deontay Wilder: I'm Planning To Stretch Luis Ortiz Out

Sometimes, winning isn't all that matters. Even in being the only pro boxer to have defeated Luis Ortiz to date, Deontay Wilder knows better than to believe the rematch will play out exactly as did its predecessor. Their March 2018 clash provided the unbeaten heavyweight titlist with his most anxious in-ring moments to the point, surviving a near disastrous 7th round to thrice drop and ultimately stop the Miami-based Cuban in 10 rounds. The win maintained his unblemished record, but also made for a valuable learning experience in just how far he still needs to improve.

More nothing talk from a big prtoected fraud hoax pretender who knows the US establishment is protecting their mediocre investment.

Shut up and fight AJ, Usyk, Whyte or a REAL (unrigged) fraud fight with Fury.

Wilder will ko the diver Ortiz and if he agrees to fight Fury rematch it means it's rigged because Haymon does not make deals with Arum.

Haymon won't do Loma Davis, Spence Crawford but suddenly he will do Fury Wilder with Arum??? Love to hear Arum talk about this rematch.

I put money on Ortiz to win...good odds

Oh and Ortiz wouldve won the 1st fight if it wasnt a protected PBC fighter. Wilder was out on his feet which made the KO the following round even that more impressive

Whyte?? Hahahahaha! The guy that only barely got by Rivas, Parker and Chisora cuz he was juiced up? Then covered up the crime with his accomplices UKAD and BBBoC? Maybe after his prison sentence.

He was able to do it the first time, so an even older Ortiz that he's seen before should be a simpler task.

How was the first fight a lopsided affair? who writes these articles? do they find any person that posts alot on these boards to become journalist? Ortiz was outboxing and landing and having his way with wilder outside of the knockdowns and nearly stopped him. First fight was good and entertaining. I feel wilder will and should beat ortiz in the rematch as i dont see ortiz doing much better older.

wilder tried to make the rematch immediately and fury ran behind TR and espn to fight scrubs....fury nearly got retired by otto wallin...arum has admitted they delayed the rematch...when the world and wilder wanted it immediately

wilder fought two top 5 HWs and knocked them down 5x in 24 rounds....how many knockdowns does your idol golovkin have in his last 36 rounds with top 5 MWs?

I can see Ortiz winning. Usually the better boxer wins rematches
