This is 100% incorrect. One or the organizations could have stripped Ruiz for fighting the rematch, but he got an exception and the rematch has been approved. After that, the winner can't be stripped by anybody as long as he fights Pulev next. Hearn is blatantly lying to the UK fans, as he always does. The WBO can't strip the winner if they fight Pulev next. It's the IBF's turn in the rotation.

They can do whatever the hell they want. Their committee can literally over rule anything.

A stripping is coming. Wanna bet ?

They can't over rule a federal court order.

If Joshua wins, clearly Hearn intends on having him duck Pulev. So Hearn is planting the seeds now so he can brainwash the UK sheep into believing Joshua had no choice but to vacate one of the belts, even though that's 100% a lie.

Should Joshua win the rematch - he won’t match with Usyk. DAZN needs more events. To have more belt holders, even fake ones, means more event shows that can be sold as “heavyweight championship”. This is why the Juicer Whyte obsession with Wilder. Hearn wants more events and not to cannibalize his own guys if at all possible

the Pulev fight would be the one they would prefer to take. Usek is not as well known and probably more dangerous.

Pulev is a nice straight up fighter perfect for AJ they will be thinking, plus more well known.

You don't understand how this business works.

The Usyk fight is in house. So Hearn wins even if AJ loses. Hearn controls both sides of the fight. Also, Hearn can make sure there's a rematch clause. Hearn can make sure he controls the promotion. Etc.

Pulev is with Arum. No rematch clause. Hearn could lose a purse bid and risk infuriating DAZN if Joshua fights on ESPN. Hearn could be completely cut out of the promotion and have no control over date or site.

All these interviews Hearn has been doing for months about the Ruiz/Joshua winner needing to vacate a belt are to plant the seeds for when Joshua vacates the IBF if he beats Ruiz. But Hearn is totally lying about needing to vacate a belt. If the winner fight Pulev next, the WBO can't strip them. Hearn is lying. Blatantly.
