If he's gonna fight another mexican, fight David Benavidez.

Much better, more exciting fighter than Ramirez.

If he can stay at Light Heavyweight and unify all the titles then he really is the 🐐. Doubt he can as he is a small light heavyweight. Then again he didn't beat G. He was given the nod in a close fight twice

just don't try to force a mandatory on him. Better yet, make him a "franchise" champ

Gonna be like the WBA168 and just never make him defend it?

You always wanna see Canelo fight ALL the best fighters yet you okay watching Charlo fight uber drivers while he waits for the Canelo payday... Am i lying??

On a side note Gilberto Ramirez is a better fighter than Charlo and a tougher fight for Canelo.
ramirez had 1 fight all yr and his claim to fame is Jesse hart? How is it that I wanna see Charlo fight uber drivers when I want to see him fight Canelo? Charlo also happened to beat j rock by brutal ko, who is the top guy at 154 right now. I also wouldn't mind andrade, or plant, or Smith, or benavidez or beterbiev or bivol as opponents for Canelo. They're all better options than ramirez. You say I always wanna see Canelo fight the best fighters, isn't that the point of being a boxing fan and what you'd expect from the "face if the sport". To face those champions in their prime. I don't care to see anymore 36 yr old opponents and this includes ggg. And for the time being ramirez doesn't even have a belt. Why wouldn't canelo focus on a champion? If ramirez is in your top 5 of opponents you'd like to see Canelo face next, you're crazy.

Well he can get stripped then. I'm sure Ramirez doesnt give a **** about him or his situational ethics.

totally agree... not interested in Ramirez at all

but I think they will select him for a Mexican showdown

all the guys you mentioned are better

Benavidez would be a good opponent, that could be a great fight

Honestly I could name 10 fights better than Ramirez.

                      Andrade
                      Charlo
                      GGG
                      DEREVYANCHENKO
                      SMITH
                      Saunders
                      Plant
                      Benavidez
                      Bivol
                      Beterbiev

Then Ramirez, Jacob's 2, and possibly Andre Ward a distant 100th lol
