How can people be so high on Canelo and so low on GGG?

And vice versa...like I seriously just don't understand the thought process of some people on here lol...how can you say that Canelo is great and pfp #1 and incredible etc...and then GGG sucks, is a hype job, overrated etc.

When the two times they fought, almost everyone acknowledges that GGG was probably the better man the first night, and even the 2nd night Canelo won 7-5 7-5 6-6 on the cards...literally the smallest margin he could have won by...if one round on one of those 7-5 cards is different, we have a draw...and the fight was in Vegas where we can all agree Canelo gets good cards, I think.

I have those 2 fights about as wide as I've seen, in favor of GGG...8-4 for both, can maybe see 5 rounds for Canelo in fight 2 but honestly just feel he got outworked both fights pretty heavily and struggled to win any clear rounds due to GGG's workrate and Canelo's lack of extremely damaging/hurtful shots that would give him a clear round.

And even then, how can I really hate on Canelo? He gave GGG two tough fights, even if felt GGG was a level or so above in both...if I think Canelo sucks then GGG wouldn't be too far behind lol.

Reading posts on here big upping Canelo and vigilantly downing GGG on every Canelo/GGG post or thread, I mean it makes 0 sense to me...just hard to take some of you guys seriously really...I don't know if you guys are really young or something but yeah the lack of logic on some of these threads is startling.

They are seesaw fans. To be pro 1 fighter they feel like they have to hate on that boxers rivals. Its very much the mentality of these PBC Al Haymon fans. Cant just be pro PBC they have to hate on everything else.

Thanks...yeah I don't really get into all the promoter wars too much...I think they are all full of sh.it on any given day...only one I don't really care for is Arum, personally he just rubs me the wrong way.

Thanks yeah the craziest thing is when they do something like acknowledge that in their opinion it is 1-1 or something with GGG and Canelo...or that the draw in the first fight was at least legit for them...but still say GGG sucks/Canelo is great lol...like wtf lol...there are probably many examples of posters on here doing similar (maybe even me) but that one stands out the most right now since GGG and Canelo seem to make their way into every thread somehow.

GGG's last 6 fights are Canelo, Canelo, SD, Jacobs...and Vanes and Rolls

Canelo's last 6 are GGG, GGG, Kovalev, Jacobs...and Fielding and JCC Jr.

How can anyone tout Canelo's run there and hate on GGG's...makes 0 sense..it's basically exactly the same level...and if any current fighter has a tougher 6 fight stretch in their last 6 than those 2, please post it my friend.

Not to mention the only reason Vanes became an option for GGG is because Canelo got popped for PEDs and had to back out of the 2nd fight...like how is that on GGG and not Canelo lol...just 0 sense my friend...oh well my man do you.

If I follow your logic here, you are saying that Canelo would be Manny...I think without GGG on Canelo's resume, Canelo doesn't have a ton to really brag about either tbh...fighting guys like Mosley and Cotto past prime, above their best weights, and not hurting or KOing them...I mean that's not really getting me excited at all.

Canelo is great though for sure...but I don't really view his resume as much better or better at all than GGG's really...Canelo's resume is a bit more manufactured, and maybe slightly better opposition, but even that I'm not sure of...but Canelo's fights are always on his terms and with his own judges...GGG has done better in his fights and won most of them definitively/with KO...other than marketing/hype, I don't see a big difference in opponent level so far between GGG and Canelo.
