Ward didn’t win squat, got out-punched and dropped. Kovalev landed more punches in 6 rounds which were mostly power punches. Ward landed more in 6, mostly jabs. And then there’s the knock down. Gift decision through and through.

Yup, S.O.G. CLEARLY won the fight. kovalev was doing a lot of holding while S.O.G. was hitting that gut.

Nobody wants to see Ward again, I agree with Pita! He barely fought, was lucky to be the Only fighter in super six not having to travel overseas thanks to his promoter Dan Goossen, then he sued Goossen. Ward never got over the fact that GGG became much more popular than he was and earned much more money in the USA. Ward lost the first Kovalev fight, getting knocked down then gift decision from Vegas judges. Ward won the second Kovalev fight on low blows gift of Vegas referee. Nobody bought tickets to see him fight back then and won’t buy tickets to see him come out of retirement, stay retired and do everyone a favor

A lot of craziness in here. If this fight would happen, Ward takes 2 tune ups with 2nd fight for Bivol's belt because Ward has trained with him in the Bay. Think Jacob vs Dervy. Ward on point with no rehydration clauses (185 morning 190 before the fight, 3 fight DAZN retirement deal, 2 mil to Arum for legal services, absolutely no power punches thrown) boxes canelos ears of 8/4 or 9/3. Canelo didn't even want to fight Andrade for undisputed, came up with Leo Santa Chicken boring Rigondeaux comments. Code wards for he boxes too good. Ward is level above Andrade. Ward has nothing to gain other than money b/c they will rob him blind on the cards and ruin his ATG legacy.

ward never "whooped" kovalev. he had two chances and failed. all canelo needed was one.
