What are we talking about? Clenbuterol won't fight even Beterbiev. Red azz won't even think about fighting Ward. Clenelo will find another old guy with big name.

Reality check for you: Ward IS an old guy with a big name.

No way Canelo takes that fight in the next 2 years, he will call for Ward in 2022

Man, I've missed seeing Ward fight.

            ******

Why give Canelo a guy on the wrong end of 35 who hasn't fought in two years? Give him Beterbiev. Beating Ward would be another fight where he's beating a name, a shell of a fighter.

Ward needs a tuneup fight against a live body. He can’t be going in there at a conditioning disadvantage

Ward can outbox him. Even Kov was ahead on some people’s cards before the KO.

Even old come backing Ward would be too much for Canelo. Ward would just crowd and smother canelo's work, and it would not be an entertaining affair in my opinion. Just a star-studded event where both guys make a lot of money but no real history is made, and it also doesn't tell us anything about Canelo. However, the Mexican still has eight fights left with the struggling DAZN and has to bring in subscriptions, and all Canelo has left at 168 or 175 are fighters who can beat him. I am not seeing Canelo honoring his agreement with the streaming service, but he may be able to make up volume with big subscriptions if he and DAZN are able to lure in Ward.

If he wants to fight Canelo he will have to.

SOG hasn't had a payday in years. He will eventually agree to throw the fight, like Hagler vs Leonard, Duran vs Leonard 2, Kovalev vs Canelo, GGG vs Canelo 1, 2, Oscar vs Floyd, Canelo vs Floyd, Marquez vs Floyd, Ortiz vs Floyd, Berto vs Floyd, Maidana vs Floyd, Baldomir vs Floyd, Mosley vs Floyd, Cotto vs Floyd, etc.

                      Ward vs Canelo

If Ward can have a couple warm up bouts I think he stands a very good chance to beat Canelo but he'd need to have his conditioning at a good level. Canelo is smart enough to know he'd have to get ward tired before swinging it out with him.. Id like to see it if it comes to pass
