I suspect you didn’t say sh.it about that either huh? Be fairLast edited by Jab jab boom; 11-05-2019, 07:31 PM.

Crawford and Loma have moved up weight classes and won belts in 3. Canelo really has won true titles in just 3 divisions if we're being honest. The equivalent of what you're saying would be if Crawford moved back down to 140 and then beat an old worn down champion at 154. Which wouldn't be that tremendous. And let's be honest about Kovalev, there were plenty of fighters from lower weight classes that would've beaten that version of a rn down, tired, soft jabbing, no stamina version of Kovalev. The 4-1 odds were accurate for a reason and it's not just because of Canelo, but also because of what Kovalev has become.

Canelo has never had a problem landing the fights that he wants because of the money and Mexican fan base that he brings to the table. So any promotor is willing to look past promotional disputes for the pay day. Someone like Crawford could ruin PBC by running through their whole team, similar to how Floyd did golden boy for yrs. Except Crawford wouldn't bring million plus ppv sales.

With Canelo, he's also done it against mainly fighters that are 35 and over with few exceptions over the past 5 yrs. So this can be debated endlessly, but when it comes to the eye ball test and in ring skills, most agree that crawford and Loma both appear to be better overall than Canelo. If size weren't a factor, I don't see much that Canelo does better than Crawford or Loma.
