His most recent fight before the 175 was 160... so if they want to equal him they’d have to go two weights from most recent fight, and 168 “regular” title is bs but I don’t make the Rules it’s considered a title... people weren’t saying sh.it when it was ggg defending that same strap to tie Bernard’s for the defense record.. I suspect you didn’t say sh.it about that either huh? Be fair

wba regular is a bs belt regardless of who had it. Now you're trying to move the goal post as far as titles. Crawford and Loma have moved up weight classes and won belts in 3. Canelo really has won true titles in just 3 divisions if we're being honest. The equivalent of what you're saying would be if Crawford moved back down to 140 and then beat an old worn down champion at 154. Which wouldn't be that tremendous. And let's be honest about Kovalev, there were plenty of fighters from lower weight classes that would've beaten that version of a rn down, tired, soft jabbing, no stamina version of Kovalev. The 4-1 odds were accurate for a reason and it's not just because of Canelo, but also because of what Kovalev has become. Fair enough, only difference is canelo did it and those other fighters haven’t and probably won’t... factswba regular is a bs belt regardless of who had it. Guess we'll have to wait and see. I believe that someone like Crawford wants to fight all of the top guys. Problem is the politics aka his top rank affiliation is what gets in the way. Canelo has never had a problem landing the fights that he wants because of the money and Mexican fan base that he brings to the table. So any promotor is willing to look past promotional disputes for the pay day. Someone like Crawford could ruin PBC by running through their whole team, similar to how Floyd did golden boy for yrs. Except Crawford wouldn't bring million plus ppv sales.Last edited by Jab jab boom; 11-05-2019, 09:44 PM.Comment

I can agree with all this, p4p rankings is and should be based on what you’ve done not what you can potentially do. So, to my point... canelo stands above the others at this time because of what he’s done. The others need to catch up... wether they are better is besides the point until they live out their potentialGuess we'll have to wait and see. but that's not what p4p is based on. It's based on the belief that if size wasn't a factor, who's the best boxer? So if Canelo wasn't physically bigger than Loma or Crawford, does he beat them? Is he more skilled? Better foot work, defense, stamina, better offense, etc.I can agree with all this, p4p rankings is and should be based on what you’ve done not what you can potentially do. Yes he is because he has done it against bigger opponents already and those other guys have notbut that's not what p4p is based on. Both have done it against bigger opponents as well. With Canelo, he's also done it against mainly fighters that are 35 and over with few exceptions over the past 5 yrs. So this can be debated endlessly, but when it comes to the eye ball test and in ring skills, most agree that crawford and Loma both appear to be better overall than Canelo. If size weren't a factor, I don't see much that Canelo does better than Crawford or Loma.Comment

Again you are basing it on potential, canelo has done it... Crawford and Loma have to go back a division beat and unify, then go up two from there and beat a champ too... they won’t do that, and until they do... their potential or the “eyeball” test doesn’t warrant a better ranking p4p against canelo if canelo already did thatBoth have done it against bigger opponents as well.
