James Toney already tried that experiment, and he's a much better fighter than Fury.

Fury beats all the ufc guys if it was purely striking, but if taken down and grappled, there wouldn't be much chance for him.

Fury would whoop those UFC guys in the cage or the ring.

He’s already beaten the best in boxing and whooped a WWE fighter recently, so the UFC would be easy for him. Their talent level is awful. Brock Lesner went in and won the HW title, yeah, a WWE wrestler lol.

It's almost impossible for a champion in boxing or a champion in MMA to crossover and achieve much success. There are a handful who have succeeded.

I don't think Fury would be one of them. Not unless he has been doing lots of other training over the years, and I just haven't heard of it.

Some boxers have a kickboxing background, and I think that is the minimum you want before you would get into a cage with an mma fighter.

Personally, I'd rather see him in the boxing ring, trying to clean up the heavy division. I get bored of circus fights.

Only UFC fighter I see being contender successful in boxing is Jorge masdival or Stipe miocic (stipes a golden glove winner who can take shots) but both are 34 n older so 2 yrs of training hard before going theyre past there prime on 90% of fighters for the pacquiaos is a rarity n that's attributed to good genes for pacquiao and Mayweather were head and shoulders above everyone in there prime that once they aged they're neck n neck with the elite of the division. Unless fury wants cte stay away from ngannou and mma instead of worrying about just hands we have to worry about kicks knees elbows grappling submissions so it's alot more ways for ko and setting up attacks plus running on a pedal doesn't work in kickboxing or mma well leg kick your front leg til it's too hard to put your weight on so you have hard time sitting on shots and moving around then we'll go in for the kill or mix it up body shots then head attacks Plus since boxers Don't have conditioned legs a leg kick to them it'll only take several before they can't move and be stationary then boom sitting duck for up to 8 forms of strikes before ko or they'll just quit cause unconditioned leg vs conditioned leg your bound to have a leg fracture after a CPL kicks
              Rico vs Tyson in MMA?

Kickboxing Champion vs Boxing Champion in MMA, who takes it?

Dana lying again. Plenty of UFC fighters were boxers before, and did just fine. This fool was saying that Floyd, one of the most athletic cats in the history of boxing, would get grabbed and slammed in 10 seconds. Delusional.

I think Tyson is rangy and moves well, but he is slow. But I dont see him getting flattened faster than anyone in the history of the UFC. I think it would just be a normal loss.

Says the guy who put CM Punk into the UFC & of course we all know CM died tragically in his 2nd UFC fight.

                  Gtfo here with this bs.

Granted I dont doubt Fury wouldnt have a great record or be the UFC champ, but I doubt hes getting seriously injured either with his giant & talented ass.

actually fighting ufc doesn't make sense to his career/money right now. talking about it does make sense. dana knows that. in 2-3 years it might make a whole lot of sense. career/money wise. and his toe is already in the door.

I wish floyd would fight Conor in mma so Conor can chew his lead leg up. The shoulder roll wouldn't work he'd get his head kicked off.
