I saw similar words about Anthony Yarde. A lot can change in a young boxers development, he has a very promising career for sure - but the only certainty in boxing, is that there are no certainties.

The sooner he leaves Hearn and that app the better. Then he'll have a good chance of being the face of boxing

He lacks the statement-making power vs lesser opponents so far. You gotta destroy the Juan Carlos Burgos’ of the world imo.

Mayweather lacked power after moving up but he was first knocking out dudes like Corrales, Hernandez, Chavez, Manfredy. You gotta knock those “name” opponents out. Burgos isn’t really up there in level but that’s the best opponent I see in his resume and he decisioned him. He’s a tough guy to KO, Mikey Garcia couldn’t do it either but with these showcase fights, you gotta show that you can do something that hasn’t been done before if you want to be noticed like Mayweather or Canelo.

Just have to wait and see if he develops more power and gets better at finishing. He looks alright, nothing for me to tell my buddies about.
