My post was in reference to the poster who said Canelo would be facing a killer next, basically....as evidenced by Canelo's, or any fighter's history, usually there is at least one tune up type fight in any 3 fight span..I also think GGG's resume is a lot better than you appear to give him credit for, but if that's how you see it or want to see it, good on ya my friend

Martirosyan was a last minute replacement because GGG’s original opponent, Canelo Alvarez, tested positive for PEDs.

Rolls was a comeback fight after a loss. Alavrez fought Alfredo Angulo after losing to Mayweather.

His resume is weak, remove two fights from it...

        LMFAO.

        He fought Canelo Alvarez twice!

What about his win over Danny Jacobs? That’s Canelo’s second best win, besides Golovkin!

Canelo ducked Sergey Derevyanchenko, whos on Golovkin’s resume. That would be Canelo’s third best win.

You all trash GGG’s win over Kell Brook, who was 36-0 and in most people’s top 10 p4p list at the time. That’s a better win than Lara, Trout, Cotto, Khan, etc.

David Lemieux would also be a top 5 Canelo victory.

And I’m not even bagging on Canelo’s resume. The resumes are so similar it’s amazing that you would trash Golovkin’s and not Canelo’s.

But that’s because you love Canelo and hate GGG.

golovkin is a star in boxing but hes not canelo..canelo is another level...hes the kind of guy that makes a guy like golovkin jump when he speaks....

nobody wants to see golovkin defend this ibf belt against this mando.....and to be honest nobody really wants to see canelo/golovkin 3 either

i dont even think golovkin thinks he can beat him...he just wants the check....canelo wont get any credit anyway...everyone will just say he waited for golovkin to get even older....and golovkin is older and just got beat up last time out too

          spare me the BS

Andy Ruiz was also a replacement. Golovkin "chose" to keep that date and fight on... I specifically remember him not having to do that. He could've found a more valuable opponent in the meantime. But like everything else, there's always some captain save a hoe rhetoric with you dudes when defending him.

Ok so now the justification for fighting Rolls was because he was coming off a loss lol But when he wanted to fight Murata for the title, he was in good enough shape to cherry pick a title in Murata, but when Murata loss, it was ok to resort back to fighting his normal string of bums (e.g. Rolls).... This is hilarious considering how you guys scrutinize Canelo

i dont even love canelo lol...i dislike golovkin....and no lemiuex would NOT be a top 5 win on canelos resume lol...thats ridiculous

and brook is not a better win than cotto or lara..lol...cotto knocked out geale in 4 rounds and cotto isnt even a real MW....

again...remove canelo and golovkin from each others resume.....one still stands on its own...the other doesnt no matter how hard you try to stretch it

canelo didnt duck chenko dude...lol...he simply realizes he doesnt need that belt for anything.....golovkin should try realizing the same....canelo is his own brand and doesnt need that fight or belt for anything...he can get any fight he wants....lol@acting like hes ducking chenko....thats such a sad, desperate, reach

youre the same guy over there the other day trying to tell me how canelo never followed through on unifying like "he said he wanted to".....yet cant realize golovkin didnt follow through either...and continued to pursue canelo after canelo dumped title....lol...how is that for pursuing "my dream to unify the division" by golovkin?!?!? thats the excuse he used when ducking ward wasnt it!?!?!

At that age and stage of your career, you want big fights.

              No time to waste them.

Yeah GGG's last 6 fights is basically identical level to Canelo's last 6 fights...and I can't think of anyone else current who comes close to them as far as last 6 fights, the difficulty level

Andy Ruiz is the same thing as Vanes Martirosyan. Joshua just sucks so he couldn’t beat him.

His normal string of bums... names one person. Yup, exactly.

Lemieux would be one of his top five wins. Please name everyone above him.

Cotto lost to Sadam Ali In his second fight after Canelo beat him. Cotto was trash at that point.

Brook would have beaten Cotto and he would have beaten Lara.

Remove Canelo and GGG from each other’s resume and it’s basically the same thing. The best win for each is Jacobs and all the rest is pretty much equal.

Canelo did Derevyanchenko. He gave up the belt to not fight him. He didn’t have a fight scheduled and could have fought him in September. He decided to fight no one instead and surrendered the belt.

Golvokin signed to fight Billy Joe Saunders in a fight to determine the undisputed champion. He only dumped it when Canelo agreed to give him a 45-percent split. He would have fought BJS if he had gotten the win over Canelo the second time. Canelo just made up a fake reason to avoid Golovkin.

With Vanes let me put it another way and maybe you will see if differently...let's say Canelo-GGG 2 was coming up in 1-2 months, and GGG pissed dirty...Canelo wants to save the fight date he has been training for, and also doesn't want a complete killer fight now since he knows the rematch will now take place in September, just 4 months after this fight date...the rematch was the biggest and most important fight, legacy and money-wise, for both Canelo and GGG at that time.

Like...how could anyone be mad at Canelo in that instance...so in the real instance, how could anyone be mad at GGG...just makes 0 sense there imo.
