Kovalev obviously has a drinking problem, he looks very very old, but he is still only 36. Mayweather was top welterweight at that age.

Floyd hadn’t been ktfo at 35 like Kovalev was..badly at that..then rocked less than 3 months ago and likely in sparring. The damage you take over your career plays a huge roll in what you look like over the twilight years. Kovalev has no punch resistance left.
