As someone who likes Crawford more than Canelo there is no way you can have him ranked higher than Canelo right now. What's sad is that the biggest name that's on Crawford's resume is Amir Khan, who was KO'd by Canelo previously.

I think JMM is too much of a Canelo critic.

wrong topic for your argument. we already settled this for the casuals, Marquez, Barrera, and Morales would have beaten Chavez. Go check some more forum post.

Canelo just won by KO over a 36 yr old LHW he was a 4-1 favorite over but IMO was losing the fight and needed a ko to win. He got that KO. Is that enough to elevate him over Crawford and Loma? For me yes.

I think he should be ranked #1 in the next P4P rankings but the TBRB, ESPN and this site should put an asterix by the ranking and note that Canelo previously tested positive for PED's while Loma and Crawford (also Usyk and Inoue) haven't tested positive.

              That's what I don't understand.

Canelo is constantly fighting B+ to A+ opposition.

              Crawford and Loma aren't.

I'll go on record and say Rocky Fielding was a better opponent than Crawford and Loma's last couple of opponents.

When was the Crawford/Gamboa fight? in 2014? Crawford's only big name was 5 years ago. But lets anoint him P4P #1. Ridiculous.

I dont know how many times we have to go over this, Ive told you guys a million times and you can go back to my older post where I state this but, Terence Crawford and Lomanchenko are "GREAT" boxers, Canelo is a "GOOD" boxer. It takes The greatest mexican boxer to ever lace a pair of gloves to make it clear that Terence crawford is better than Canelo.

Now that's a fight Canelo wouldnt have wanted. Ive seen crawford at 180+ lbs.Dude will smoke Canelo at 154-160.
I don't know how well Crawford can handle adversity or how well he operates on the inside because he has not had to face the level of opposition that would allow me to see whether he has those wrinkles to his game. Only time will tell.

As for Lomachenko I see a good fighter but I've never been wowed by him or seen anything that would make me classify him as great, a lot of it has been unwarranted hype. Maybe it's because he likes to admire his own work after he makes his opponents reset, I've seen elites pull that stuff countless but with Lomachenko oddly enough it seems to get a great deal of reaction. Pacquiao makes his opponents reset and someone gets popped in the mouth, same with Mayweather, Ward but Lomachenko does it and everyone is pulling out the lotion.

Canelo checks the list and even after Mayweather beat him Floyd was quick to say that Canelo is a very good all around fighter and Canelo has learned a lot since then. I'm not putting those other 2 above him, just no.

You guy's can say what you want, your entitled to your own opinion, But coming from someone who has grew up in the gym since I was 8yrs old, Ohio Golden Glove Champion, 08' Olympic Trails, I think it's safe to say I know what im talking about when it comes to boxing.

In my book, and according to many other proffesional mexican boxers, YES we all consider Marquez to be the greatest mexican fighter to ever lace a pair of gloves. Only Americans say Chavez was better than the others. True MEXICAN's know Marquez, Barrera, Moralez, Sanchez, Lopez where far better boxers than Chavez. Chavez COULD NOT fight going backwards. Marquez could Knock you clean out going backwards.

Crawford is better in just about every area expect power.
Crawford has better Ring & Boxing IQ, better counterpuncher, better defense, better at controlling range and distance, faster hands, Better reflexes, and overall better skillset than nelo.

Canelo is a MONSTER, dont get me wrong, but it's like saying Chavez was better than Leonard.

Bob Arum is the reason we havent seen Crawford in the ring with the bigger named guys.
