I think Garcia will develop into a hell of a fighter. He improves each time out, especially his movement, timing, and confidence. He has boat loads of charisma and in his last couple fights he has shown some real fire in his belly. Don't let his looks fool you. On top of that, his energy level is really up there.

agreed. I felt like he was fighting to not get tired, which happened anyway. The touching of the gloves was annoying. Especially when you consider that he used to be thought of as one of the meanest boxers in the sport who wanted to hurt his opponents. For the most part the fight looked like a glorified sparring session.Comment

That was when Garcia was 19 and Romero was 3 years older at 22, a greater age difference and Romero is also a huge prospect in his own right at this time which means both got some top notch sparring in with each other, and at the end of the day, it is sparring, nothing more, and will benefit both of them.Stevenson, then haney, then gacia.
Ryan Garcia was getting man handled by rolly.

Matchmaking 101, fight stylistically disadvantaged & names on the way out. Occasionally fight a bigger guy with a serious handicap and proclaim to be #1.
Wash, rinse repeat.
Stay away from Davis, Haney or any top level prime talented fighters until they are ripe.Last edited by factsarenice; 11-05-2019, 10:18 AM.Comment

Devin Haney spared Garcia more than once and beat him up. Granted, it's sparing, but Ryan isn't in any hurry to fight either Haney or Stevenson for good reason.Last edited by factsarenice; 11-05-2019, 10:52 AM.Comment
