It was a scripted fight. It was so obvious. Kovalev throwing pitty pat jabs, hardly used his right hand and when he did hurt Clenero Kovalev backed off.
I've seen better looking scripted fights. Clenero being P4P #1 is laughable.

I kept telling them just wait, a KO is coming.
I looked like a boxing genius when Canelo merced Kov.

The same Kovalev was almost knocked out by a RAW Yarde-> No su****ion of corruption.

An even LONGER in the tooth Kovalev gets knocked out by Canelo who i believe is better than both Yarde and Eleider and yet Canelo's KO is suspect!!!

I just went through Canelo's entire boxing record and he has never fought someone younger than him. I have a feeling that he will never fight:
- Bivol
- Gilberto Ramirez
- Caleb Plant
- Callum Smith
- Jermall Charlo
- David Benavidez
- Billie Joe Saunders

The height of ******ity when your list is comprised of inferior unaccomplished fighters to whom hes faced & the height of irony that Canelo has faced many fighters younger than your list when he faced them,its also dumb to say its an advantage for a not prime nelo to face more experienced fighters in their prime like trout/Lara & a few others & even ggg never had a prime because he was considered a bum to you haters back in his prime,in case you haven't noticed most fighters aren't at their best til 30s nowadays which is why most those fighters you say were older were champions & why p4p lists are always full of age 30s fighterd. why haven't we seen any score cards of the fight, even with it ending early we still need to know because it was quite boring before the ko anyhow!

I haven't seen any of the other threads re this fight, but after watching yesterday, am I the only one who suspects the whole thing was a staged, scripted farce?

Did Kovalev throw a single punch with any clear sign of intent? His whole demeanor and attitude appeared to be that of an exhibition fight.

The knockout looked suspect too.

There was no way Canelo's run on his huge contract was ever going to be interrupted this early.

It should be obvious to anyone who knows the fighters and knows boxing.

Not only did Kov not throw with intent, he never looked hurt or tired.

With Canelo on top boxing is becoming WWE
