and you basing that off what? Your subjective opinions on how YOU SCORED THE FIGHT lol, do you not see the conflict of interest?

and of course Kovalev is a much harder fight than SD, Kovalev has alot more accolades and was the legit champ.

again you think GGG has 2 w's thats subjective and not reality.

Canelo is worth that money cause he deal is not contingent on any one particular fight unlike GGG contract that is contingent on a Canelo fight.

Canelo is entering his prime while GGG is out the door. Canelo pushed him out that door.
This is GGG career since Canelo
    Canelo 1 - draw
    Vanes (154 2 years retired) - W
    Canelo 2 - L
    Rolls (Ranked outside top 20 - W
SD (first lefit fight not canelo) - W

    GGG is done.
We all have our biases man but yeah I can't see how anyone can score those fights as anything but a W for GGG...just as I can't see how anyone could give GGG 7 rounds vs SD...I gave him 6 and felt it was a fortunate 6 for him...only scored it 1 time though, vs the 10 times or so I have scored each Canelo-GGG fight.

And yeah bro come on...Kovalev was pretty clearly ahead last night before the KO, but it was a competitive fight...so Nelo will get the rounds in Vegas...he is the A-side, it is what it is, I don't really care...to beat the King you've got to KO him, so be it.

I just have to be honest...after seeing SD and Kovalev's last fights, I legit think SD is a tougher fight...Kovalev gassed so easily and GGG surely would have caught him with something big like that and put him down...he just didn't really look like a formidable challenger to me honestly...I like Canelo though and think he is great, but I think they knew what they were doing when they picked Kovalev...the odds and feeling of inevitability kind of just tell the story too.

GGG may well be done, I won't argue that...but a 3rd fight with Canelo just still makes too much sense, even if he is...it's still probably the biggest fight in boxing...and if Canelo fans hate GGG so much, why not fight him and KO him...why wouldn't you want that

Also yeah I don't think Canelo is worth $35 million per fight unless he is bringing in close to $70 million per fight...and he isn't doing those numbers unless it is vs GGG I think.

      Oh yeah, no one.

I would pick Canelo but he never wins fights big unless his opponent is hit garbage.

      Also...

Derevyanchenko would knock Kovalev out as would GGG.
I can't believe I am saying it...but I actually agree with the bold...Kov sadly just looked done in almost every sense of the word last night...GGG is probably fading too but at least he still has some pop it seems.

its your opinion, and thats fine, thats the past. What we are discussing is how valid is a 3rd fight?

Do you think GGG can win a 3rd fight vs Canelo? with no * of fanboyish pre built excuses where "ggg cant win i vegas" blah blah blah.

Can GGG win a 3rd fight? and if so? what tells you he can?

His fight vs Vanes? who was retired for 2 years pior and at 154lber? or his fight vs rolls who wasnt even in the top 20? or his fight vs SD where he got worked over bad and where alot of people thought SD WON?

So what can you point at that says this is why I say GGG can beat Canelo is a 3rd fight?

cause you saying is "I BELIEVE GGG CAN WIN A 3rd FIGHT BECAUSE I BELIEVE IT"
I believe he can beat Canelo in a 3rd fight because I saw him beat him 8-4 twice, in pretty identical fashions.

If GGG boxes behind the jab I think he probably wins another 8-4 type decision...if he kind of abandons the jab like he did vs SD, he will probably lose.

So yeah in a neutral setting, with neutral judges etc, I think GGG could still beat Canelo, if he boxes behind the jab...but I don't think there will really be a neutral setting, and I don't know if he will box behind the jab.

Maybe one of them lands a good shot though and hurts the other one too, that would be entertaining.

In the first fight Canelo boxed and GGG pressured/ you gave GGG 8-4?

In the 2nd fight GGG boxed and Canelo pressured/ you gave GGG 8-4?

and you call the style of the W "Identical fashions"

I just saw him beat him twice with my own eyes...if Canelo had beaten him I would say it, I don't really care that much man...not enough to lie to myself lol.

So yeah if they fought again, and GGG employs a similar style to what he did in the first two fights, I think he would probably win....caveats being whether he is washed up, and if Canelo is improving/can adapt...would make for a good fight I think.

Exactly, all canelo does is make excuses, I don’t like him I think was the best, what better reason to fight someone, ridiculous excuses

2nd fight Canelo held the center of the ring well, that is true...I wouldn't say they swapped roles really though...Nelo just held the center of the ring much better.

When I said 'in the same fashion', I was referring to the fact that in both fight Canelo started well in the early rounds with his speed advantage...GGG was also in those rounds too with his volume punching...those first few rounds in each fight were close, 2-1 either way type rounds.

Rounds 4-6 in each fight were pretty clearly at least 2-1 GGG in both...Canelo was starting to slow a bit from his original pace...and GGG was starting to settle in a bit now and loosen up.

Then in each fight GGG had 3 straight rounds late where he swept them pretty clearly...7 8 9 in fight 1...9 10 11 in fight 2...I have never watched those 2 fights and ever scored one of those rounds for Canelo.

So yeah, similar fights...Canelo starting fast and making the first few rounds tight...then he slows a bit and GGG settles in, and starts to pile up rounds, with some pick em rounds in there as well.

Imho, the 2nd fight, the Mexican Style fight, was very easy (regardless of what the judges saw). GGG wants that one last Nelo check and who can blame him.

Can't see Golovkin beating Canelo at this juncture, if fact I can only see Canelo beating Golovkin clearly and decisively. Canelo's in his prime and Golovkin would be 38 years old at the earliest time such a fight could take place. The fights that were meaningful already happened and whilst I personally thought GGG deserved the nod both times the official results are what they are.
