You are an idiot.Originally posted by Dirt E GomezBwa hahaha, the infamous statements... I'm hating on Roy, despite there being no evidence. The undercard, while ending in KO's, were all bums. I can watch FNF and WNF to watch bums fights that will probably have a KO.
Seriously though, my sandwich was delicious. It's far superior to that fight card.
You didn't even watch the fight and you're still passing judgment on it.
Nice job.
And you're saying in general that no fights are good without a KO? Wow.Comment

I pass judgments because I don't have to see it to know it's ****. Well, Jones won a ridiculously easy decision and almost won by a DQ because Prince Abujabu repeatedly low blowed him and was holding entirely too much at the end of the fight. This is hardly inspiring.Originally posted by dalatinsnakeYou are an idiot.

And had you actually read what I was responding to you'd know what my statement was about. THey suggested the undercard was some masterpiece because all 3 ended in stoppages. I simply refuted that by saying if you want bums who stop eachother, there's plenty of other sources than a card you have to pay for.
Up the reading comprehension before trying to refute my posts... nice spelling though.Comment

I saw the Roy Jones, Jr. card tonight and I have to say I bought it just to watch Roy, wasn't too thrilled with the Harris fight...so..I figured, why not? I doubt you could called me a hater. Still, I have to point out that, after Roy made it through the first round, the fight was easy sailing for him. Does that mean he's back? No. He was never able to severly hurt Badi Ajamu...who showed he was living up to his full potential as a lower ranked boxer. Not top ten material- top fifteen maybe. Yet despite Ajamu's frustration, and throwing little other than low blows, Roy never really hurt him. There was never a point where I went, "Oh, there's old school Roy...Badi is done. He's going to go..." In fact, Jones seemed content to coast to a victory, showboating a bit in the later rounds, and never mounted a sufficent attack to get Ajamu out of the fight. I don't think Roy is back to where he was. He proved tonight he can manage to fight....but I doubt he can compete at a very high level. Maybe take on a lower top-ten ranked individual....for Roy to call this any sort of comeback he needs to, and his fans need to, put this into perspective. He proved he can still hold his own...don't thrown Roy in there with anyone too skilled. They're most likely going to tear him up.
I have to disagree. Roy Jones, Jr. is back on the scene...but not back to where he once was. Those days are long gone.Comment

Most people that bought this pay per view either loved Jones, wanted to see if he still had it, or were hoping for a huge bashing on Jones. I guess you don't care about him at all. Thats fine.Originally posted by Dirt E GomezI pass judgments because I don't have to see it to know it's ****. I understood exactly what you said, but you kept going back to how Jones' fight didn't end in a KO, so it was worthless.
Anyways, if you were just looking for a KO, the undercard fights would have been good for you. I doubt that if you saw fights like that, that you'd care if they were relatively unknown boxers.
EDIT: By the way, giving me negative props isn't going to make you feel better or piss me off. Have fun trying.Last edited by dalatinsnake; 07-30-2006, 01:06 AM.Comment
