    what fight were you watching????

ok ,maybe he wasnt gonna get knocked out but he was taking shots right from the get go man. Badi was really taking it to him in the first minute.

he only landed a few of those shots.
But the fact that he won 1 minute out of a 36 minute fight is not impressive.

i agree. the point i was trying to make though was that if Badi was anywhere near Johnson's or Tarvers level , Roy would have been buried in the first round.

It was as if Jones was shot in that Tarver fights. Its just that Tarver had Jones' number. With Johnson Roy was too distracted about the knockout loss to Tarver.

Yeah I think since Johnson wasn't well known that he could just play around and act like Judah. He ain't gonna make a mistake like that again. When he fought Ajamu, Jones took that **** seriously.

with johnson it seemed like Roy was scared to get hit. He was really concerned about getting hit flush and when you fight scared you will get rocked.

I just think that Jones underestimated Johnson, after all Jones said that the fight would be a warm up match.

Sure, Jones was scared to get hit. But he never woulda slowed down and suffered that 1st KO in the 1st place had he not came down from 20 lbs of solid muscle. That slowed him down just enough.
