The only way Ward was able to win was punching in a clinch. He was also getting hit way more than Canelo.

Ward easily, he needed low blows but at least he didnt drain Kovalev into a husk. He also fought Kovalev when Kovalev was still at the top of his game. Canelo fought Kovalev who had already lost 3 times and 2 were by KO

Canelo did. And I've been called a Canelo hater. Ward LOST the first fight, and had to crush the Krushers balls in order to win in the second fight.

Kovalev looked exactly the same in both fights. Ppl just have tunnel vision & are revisionist. Theres a reason I used to call kov foldalev after Ward faced him but before he impressed his last 2 fights by not folding the 1 rd he lost & he destroyed 2 prime undefeated lions hack to back.

Nelo just made him leave his hands at home as hes done 3 killer punchers back to back basically.

Ggg/Jacobs/Kov all could only muster arm punches & weak jabs for fear of being countered. When Ward faced kov kov did identically to vs nelo. Ppl are just completely biased af. Kovalev also threw way more punches last 3 fights in a row than vs Ward when he threw half as much but landed more.
