Always interesting how 48'rs will always point out that Floyda opponents weren't in their prime at their best with the stars in the sky aligned. Yet never have I ever read LIKE LITERALLY EVER how Floyd deserves maybe some credit for fighting fighters out of his own prime?
A contradiction perhaps??
Where’s all the 49ers and 50ers tho?
San Fran? Ireland?
What about 51ers?
Japan?

People do give floyd credit but a little perspective goes a long way. Nel o was a cw and Pac s started 2 or 3 divisions lower than floyd, and the smaller man, with 20 more fights under belt.
Sure Floyd will get some credit but just not as much as you want. Horn will get a little credit for beating pac as will bradley. But, again, how much credit will probably not be as much as Pac haters or horn or Bradley and Floyd fans want

There are no 49ers and 50ers because nobody has to defend their losses in the ring. You see they showed up when they fought floyd. Unlike.manny who forgot his heart at home, hence why you have people who have to defend him, hence the 48er.

that only adds to serafim’s legacy!!
Serafim the tbe!
After Serafim whooped Floyd, that’s when Floyd decided his game plan will be to fight the clock every fight from then on, instead of his opponent!
I have Floyd at #26 on my all time great rankings but as Pacquiao and Canelo continues to add to their legacies it helps boost Floyd’s cuz he easily took them both to school when he was past his prime!
When Canelo and Pacman retires officially and have their resumes stacked up, I will likely boost Floyd to # 24 or #23 on my all time great rankings!
I have Pacquiao at #28 but could see him get boosted higher if Thurman gets a big win down the road or if Pacquiao fights Danny Garcia and gets a stoppage!
Floyd has one of greatest resumes of modern sports history!
People can say what they want but anyone’s resume can get nitpicked to death!
I’m assuming u know ur history going back to Tom Cribb based on where u place Floyd and Manny. From what I’ve read Bill Richmond was a great p4p fighter in the literal sense. But I find it hard to quantify fighters before my time. I just don’t know enough, especially on opponents faced. Who’s ur top ten? I’m impressed u took the effort to compile a long list. It’s all up for debate.
If anyone cannot see through those wins, you're just a casual.
Nelo was what? 21 years old? Green as F*K. Jr. got him to get that pay check (Nelo was the draw) and knew it would be an easy win with his experience. Wasn't there a CW involved also?
Pac had factors against him leading into the fight (shoulder, not allowed to take numbing shots on fight night, although Jr. can). Let's also just forget he was also 4-5 years removed from his best version of himself when people wanted the fight.
If you want to also bring up the Marquez win, it was a joke. Marquez had to go up in weight, looked out of shape as all hell, and it was a CW that Jr. didn't even care to make. More easy advantages going into the fight.
Like my quote from Jr. himself says. He'll never take a fight he knows he wouldn't win. As long as all the odds and possibilities favor him he's game. Probably the least ever to take risks in the sport and then call himself TBE. Ask yourself, did you ever watch a Jr. match and honestly thought his opponent had a chance to win? Not because Jr. was so great, but because it was completely on equal playing terms? What more points to that than him fighting MMA fighters and a kid barely 20 yrs old kick boxer who had no business being in the ring against a 40+ yr old strictly boxing with boxing only rules? Nough said.
