What would he do with a Canelo win? Hes 37 years old. Might not be able to fight again until his 40s if things go south.

You think DAZN paid him $12 million with only 3 million as a base pay, with the rest in undisclosed incentives (odd for a non PPV fight) just for fun?

If he beat Canelo he wouldn't have gotten anywhere near the same amount of money and they would discredit him by saying he beat up a MW. It's sad that Kov chose the dive but it's the reality of the situation.

He did the best he could in the ring. He just couldn�t overcome everything that was stacked against him before the opening bell.
