Why was the fight stopped so fast? Kov should have been given a chance to get up.

Fix. Kovalev was happy to be a part of the show, he did not speak any venom at all against Canelo or Oscar. Most obvious fixed business transaction in years. $14m to play the patsy for the franchise.

The fixers just aren't as good at fixing and hiding the fraud as they used to be. Floyd and Haymon ruined the sport because their fixing was just as bad. Make no mistake, all of Floyd's fights post Haymon were inside jobs.

No problem. It was the worst kind of KO though, where the fighter is out on his feet but doesn't fall and then gets hit with a 2nd punch when he's totally vulnerable.

Because the ref got the same instructions that Calzaghe-Manfredo ref did.

To jump in at the first sign of danger and stop the fight.

Referee made some pretty coins too.

that was another level! Calzaghe landed 2 slaps, not even punches, and missed the rest.

Disgsuting what that guy gt away with.

That’s a 100% negative. You’re not the ref, so it won’t be on conscious if Kovalev dies from brain injury or becomes brain damaged. The ref did a great job in immediately noticing that Kovalev will be out for more than 10 seconds.

Boxing deaths need to be prevented, and it starts with corners and refs.

If something bad happened to Kovalev all you would do is come on here and say “prayers”, which won’t fix a damn thing.

There were three fights last night were no count was issued.

Like damn, count to four and waive it off, but don't just waive it off before 1. It looks bad.

At least count him out. Let’s recall fury return from the dead in wilder fight.
