Lol we all know he's not fighting Beterbiev. Beterbiev is a bigger,stronger and fresher version of Golovkin with an equal amateur pedigree, and he we all saw how badly Canelo struggled with Golovkin. He would get completely mauled.

He would probably consider Bivol, since Bivol is smaller and doesn't hit as hard, but that would be a very tough fight for him as well.

I tell you what with Canelo’s magical score cards anyone who tries to do “just enough to win,” is not a real threat. That is and will always be Jacobs in a big fight.

And just because he is black doesn’t mean he is a slick fighter. Andrade presents problems that we have not seen Canelo overcome. He was blown out against Mayweather and received a generous gift against Lara.

But when I watch Canelo, I now see a lot of Mayweather in him. So I want to see if he truly got better or if he just stayed away from that style that was problematic. We shouldnot have to speculate about it. And if he is king of the boxing universe and the best... a Jacobs fight should be par for the course.

That’s a good win but it’s the type of fight expected at this level. Shouldn’t be a rare occurrence. P4P Champions don’t prove there the best and get stronger on past greatness. They keep supporting their claims with fresh wins conquering new threats to the throne.

Canelo shouldn’t be escaping fighters for a franchise belt, fighting the number 15 guy for a belt at 168, and showing up at Kovalevs retirement party with a shovel. This is the “Franchise Fighter of the sport.”

Canelo fought a 168 lb champ? Who was he and when was this? And if Kovalev keeps fighting everyone will be lining up to fight him. You do realize he has been knocked out three times in his last 5 fights? Great accomplishment. Every expert predicted Canelo by knockout.
