Clean effective punches and ring generalship were definitely all Canelo. Kov virtually threw no effective right hands. He was so scared of being countered all night. Maybe that was the fix, that he didn’t fight hard, but there was no fix on that scorecard.

the same thing happened to Canelo's last 4 opponents

I had Kovalev winning the fight at the time of the stoppage but I also knew he wasn't gonna get the decision if it came to that, as these scorecards show.

But anyway it's moot since Canelo finished the fight decisively with a very impressive KO.

Great chess match by Canelo. He jumped two weight classes and Ko the champion. Big respect.
But he should now consider settling at 168. I would like to see him fight Callum Smith, Billy Saunders and Bivol.

            Wow...

            Moretti- 6-1
            Lederman 5-2

This keeps going, our sport will just fade. This is the reson why its just us real fans watching it... The casuals are done and not much new fans coming up

Leave up to the haters to still cry about the cards after a brutal KO.

That was a close fight. 6-4 Canelo didn’t match my card, but that’s not a crazy card. And 5-5 was totally reasonable too.

Jabs to the gloves count as misses.

The Canelo LHook was awsome the right hand was just a undefended sickner. The judging in Vegas is by far the whorst in the world .You would have to knock Canelo out to get a draw.K. was wining the fight at the time of the stoppage this was clear to see.Canelo was taking shots on the gloves and slipping lots but was landing nearly as often as K. and that's where the big diffrence was.I'm glad Canelo ended all arguments but this judging in Vegas for him is completely onesided robbery.

I know Compubox is rarely accurate, but if it shows a huge trend that trend is usually fairly true. Power punches were 104-52 in favor of Canelo and that seemed to be about right. And ringside where the judges sit is a totally different experience in terms of being able to tell who is landing the harder shots. You can hear them and feel them.

The bad judging is just expected now..

It's crazy it's like people just except he best GGG twice now and Canelo Carrie's himself like he dominated him.

I honestly cant ever watch another Canelo fight on DAZN ever again. After this and the Jacob's fight it makes me feel kind of sick watching it. The whole promotion is so biased towards him. The ringside crew were almost terrified to admit Kovalev was controlling the fight before the stoppage. Mannix was an absolute embarrassment.

Think about it. All of their jobs depend on this man. You cant tell me that every single one of them doesnt have a stake in him winning against an outsider like Kovalev. I'm glad Canelo won fair and square. I wonder how the Ruiz rematch will be slanted since Ruiz winning would ruin Joshua.

Moretti giving Canelo the first two rounds is an OBVIOUS sign that he was paid off. Canelo did NOTHING in those rounds; even the heavily biased Chris Mannix/DAZN gave those rounds to Kovalev.

This is the new 11th commandment: You cannot defeat Canelo Alvarez by decision.
