Let's start the scoring..
1-0 Kov due to activity. Canelo landing a few nice shots to get Kov's attention. Feeling out round.
1-1 Canelo, very close could go either way. Canelo landeda few really good shots, while Kov's jabs were mostly blocked. Canelo's had a ton of practice with blocking jabs w G and Danny.
2-1 Kov. Canelo landed a few nice catchy shots, but most of the round was dominated by Kov. Got a few good counters in as well. He's throwing a LOT of punches though.
2-2 Canelo. Asserting dominance through timing.
3-2 Kov. Close round, both guys missing a ton of punches. Kov wins through activity. I like buddy giving Kov breathing exercises.
3-3 Canelo. Canelo with really nice counters. Kovalev landing nothing, output slowing down. His jabs are losing steam, a lot of feeling out shots.
4-3 Kov. Higher activity. Canelo lands some nice counters, but most of them do not have power behind them. Can't win rounds through 5 showboating punches without power in them. Gotta start wondering when Kov's stamina will start becoming an issue?
5-3 Kov. Canelo took the round off. Crowd boos Nelo, commentators mention it. Looks like Canelo is letting Kov tire himself out. Doesn't look like it's working so far. If you asked me before the fight will Kovalev throw 600 punches by round 9 and be Ok? I'd say not a chance.

Canelo has outlanded Kovalev, clearly. He has landed more everything than Kovalev has landed jabs.

Canelo is clearly winning and I feel bad for him that so many fans don’t know how to score fights. If he doesn’t get the KO he will once again get bashed with robbery claims from idiotic fans who score jabs landing on gloves.

Kovalev going to stand in range throwing the same punches over and over. Not gonna attempt to switch it up, not going attempt to push Canelo back. Kovalev fighting with no spite whatsoever, looks like he's following a script. Disgusted with them comparing Canelo to Henry Armstrong. I wonder which Cruiserweight champion will be willing to prostrate themselves before Canelo and DAZN for the dollars in 2020...

Kov won that round cuz Alvarez decided to bizarrely take the round off in a fight he’s clearly losing!

Kov landed some good shots that mattered!
