    Thank you.

Someone asking now what was Kov's plan.
Answer: Go to bank, cash check, pay lawyers for trials.
Maybe pay hoes if anything is left over.

If his purse was in the 8 figures, you have to ask yourself how much he received under the table.

He might have doubled it for all i know, except this time it's tax free.

Mc Girt of course got his cut, just like Abel Sanchez did.

Like I've pointed out that in their fight, JCC Jr only threw hard to Clenelo when the latter had both hands to his face.

Oscar would never let this cash cow risk it. [And there's deeper reasons why boxing is so fixed.

There are so many ways to fix a fight.

        Fake or diminished offence
        Ref allows dirty tactics
        Corrupt judges--need 2.
Corrupt ref, many possibilities including early stoppage
Allow PEDS or other illegal things
        Not allow legitimate Rx
        Fake injury during fight
        Other?

        What else?
maybe he hurt both his hands just minutes before the fight?

This wasn't a tough call to make. Canelo has been scouting Kov's ass for years. He's seen the decline, slippage and the deterioration of skills in Sergei. Therefore, it wasn't a difficult fight for him to pick.

                It was the perfect storm:

                - Kovalev gets a real good pension
                - Kovalev already has 2 losses and a draw, so who cares if he loses a 3rd?
                - the DANZ cash cow gains a notch on his belt
                - Kovalev made it look good, just jabbing all night
                - Claims he was tired after the 6th (even though he was barely throwing punches)

Everyone involved won. Kovalev can retire with a huge bank in his last fight. Chealtlo looks good. Win win.

I think Kovalev wants to 'make up' for the Ward fights with this fight. Think we might see the old Krusher once he realizes Canelo can't hurt him and he'll put a beating on ginger.

We'll see either the best or the best version of Kovalev in years in this fight.
                  not this russian.

                    Enjoy the Donaire Inoue fight.

I think/hope that one will be a rare title fight that isn't fixed in some way or another. At least I think both will throw hard, unlike Kov's orders. Judges might be another matter though. Japan you know: Yakuza-Govt connection.

But this one is unlikely to go to the judges.
Enjoy. Hope no one gets seriously hurt.

Kovalev developed memory loss and forgot to throw his hard jab and right hand.
