    Because words can’t describe how
Much I despise them and that they truly need to die for the sake of humanity. It is because of them that the new masculinity is femininity.
Masvidal and Diaz would be beaten to death in boxing by Duno who is fighting and should get beat by Ryan Garcia. I could care less which is more popular.
I kind of dig your attitude ... a true boxing fan
(although no one needs to die here)

First of all, one of the reasons why people are interested in Diaz v Masvidal is because there is an expectation that they are going to be BOXING each other - throwing hands, scrapping, boxing. Not running or looking to flop to the ground looking to escape the pocket. If their fights turns into rolling around (even with an educated crowd who knows Diaz has skills there) , expect boos to reign down.

Second, as far as I can tell, both fights are on apps. The PBC shills on this board have their angle that DAZN sucks because hey look the UFC is PPV and look how anticipated their event is - Canelo has no hype because it's on an APP - so therefore you should like the idea of 10 PBC PPVs a year. They aren't telling you it's actually "PPV via ESPN+", an app.

So - it maybe it isn't the app, or boxing itself...maybe it's Canelo and some of the smoke and mirrors people are getting tired of? I think a lot of people thought we'd get a little break from that **** once Floyd left. People wanted Canelo to be different than that SO BAD. Now that they see that maybe it's not going to be like that, well then maybe they move onto two guys with records like diaz and masvidal to make a point. They'll be out there looking to box too, the people see it as more honest I guess.

You're missing a big point too both Nate and Masvidal have personality something star boxers used to have. Personality always sells fights. Fury is definitely doing his best to try to profit off that.

Outside of Mexico nobody knows anything about Canelo's personality let alone Kovalev's.

Yes, good point. There seems to be a lack of the emotional investment from fans that comes from getting to know about ur personality. Pac, JMM, Cotto, GGG these guys were able to connect with fans over time because they tried to learn and speak English. Some of them had instant connection. Maybe it has put a ceiling on Canelo's potential popularity over time. I her him trying every once in a while

I think it's because the boxing world and even casuals to an extent now know that this is a farce fight with a foregone conclusion (basically a fixed fight). ..And with the UFC you know you are getting a good fight no matter what with no diva ****e and cheating with officials, etc.

I'm picking Canelo by early KO because he can't even hurt middlewieghts , so from a marketing perspective it will best help his brand (and Kovalev is just a well paid actor in this fight who is happy to do any dive).
