Why or how could a UFC fight on *PPV* of a main event where both fighters have a combined record of 54 wins and 24 losses be a much bigger draw?

I think it's because just about anybody who knows boxing knows that the Canelo fight is either fixed or not a real legit fight!

People tend to go into denial about fixed things. That's why half the electorate still votes.

Likewise, even though it's obvious, many boxing fans are in denial and always say they'll boycott the next fix. But many go back. Addiction is hard to overcome.

They're all over music stations, they're on the news stations, they hit the podcasts and the television late night shows, they run commercials all the damn time, and they advertise much more vehemently on Youtube.

I think its simply a matter of the fans wanting the Diaz vs Masvidal fight & meanwhile we got some fight no one cared at all about til it got made.

UFC has mastered the art of match making as well as pre fight build up

While Boxing has declined greatly when it comes to all those things
