Am I the only person who thinks Kovalev should win this? Canelo had close fights with middleweights. He’s now jumping 2 weight classes to fight a much bigger man who is very good and still has devastating power. Kovalev was looking good before the alvarez stoppage in the first fight. He looked very good in his second fight. Against Yarde he still looked very decent.....

WOW !! I just read what Dan Raphael sp said about a rehydration clause. He sounded disgusted.

This changes things dramatically for me. I had a little respect for Canelo but have None zero now. Dan said he did it to Chavez Jr to Fielding and now to Kovalev.

The thing is, Canelo, like him or not, is just another level completely to Yarde, regardless of size - and Yarde still landed plenty of shots. His **** defence let him down - but Canelo has a great defence and ring IQ.
The bookies have Canelo as a huge favourite. Kovalev is rank outside. I’ve been toying with the idea of putting £20 or £30 on him, just in case.
I’m no Canelo fan but I expect him to win, basing his gameplan on a LOT of body work.
