Not that big difference in size, Kovalev 2 inches taller and 2 inch longer reach.
It's almost the same as lomachenko vs several of his opponents. For example Luke Campbell are 2 inches taller and has 6 inches longer reach + a lot heavier then Loma

2 inches taller? Are you blind? Canelo is almost 5'8 and Kov is 6 feet tall and fights 6 feet tall while Canelo fights shorter.

It is unfortunate that they even put it in to the contract as it will obviously cheapen the outcome for a casual fan. Lame decision for everyone.

They should just read up on the IBF rules and regulations

I think many fighters don’t like it to the body. I also think Yarde hits harder than Canelo, and Kovalev took those shots rather well. Canelo has skills and youth, and it’s close, but I think Kovalev still has the better chance at winning the fight. Especially if he shows the same stamina that he had in the Eleider rematch.

Meaning in reality the bigger fighter should be the lock but isn’t
Bookies are not wrong very often , their will be a substantial amount of money being wagered on Kovi ( good odds and the right choice considering all ) but don’t see him as the victor
