Well Kovalev should've rejected the fight. Nobody forced him to take this fight. Blame him for accepting it.

And yes, it would be too crazy. If you wanna be a light heavy, fight at light heavy. If you wanted the 10lb IBF rule, fight Beterbiev.
Negative, he’s asking Kovalev to repeat what he’s done 7 times before.

        Bingo.

No one made Chad Dawson offer to fight at 168 against Ward.

No one made Cotto agree to 145 against Pacquiao.

No one made Canelo agree to 152lbs against Mayweather.

There's no asterisk by the L's on their records.... These guys made their decisions to give a few pounds of advantage to their opponent in exchange for a few million in the bank.

He’s asking for preferential treatment again, like the diva he is.

Here we go with the fake outrage from the poorly informed boxing fans. Kovalev's FIGHT NIGHT weight Vs. Eleider Alvarez 2 was 180lbs and his weight for the Yarde fight was 183.5. This rehydration clause will have ZERO effect on Kovalev. He completely changed his diet when he switched to McGirt. Here is a video from Kovalev himself confirming it. Timestamped 2:22

i love how people say "nobody is forcing them to fight, if they don't want a rehydration clause, refuse the fight" lol. they offer you the kind of money that's impossible to reject. when and where is kovalev gonna make that kind of money? like floyd with chino's gloves (gloves that were fine) when was chino gonna have the opportunity to make that kind of money? floyd on the other hand could fight a trash can (which he had) and make 30 millions

people that defend this are retards
