Kovalev is here for his Retirement Send Off Check
This is Life Changing Money for Kovalev, they could've told him to go down to 165 for this one and he would've did it for that $$$. Both Kovalev and Kathy Duva needs this Payday lets be honest!
CANELO by UD, probably will look a lot like the Chavez Jr fightLast edited by sicko; 11-01-2019, 07:53 PM.Comment

my cousin, a hojomo wrestler would suck ice for a few days, and get skinny.. then, in 10 or 13 hours be big and strong. some guys can do it.. in my youth, i could, but at a certain point.. i could not.. i felt pain in my kidneys, and was piszzzing coffee... boxing is a life style..
sometimes, even now, if i think i look fat, i stop eating, and drinking for a day or two, and i look lean, but not so healthy..
my wife prefers me with a few exta pounds.... she feeds me when i don't feel like eating big meals..
i am getting old.. i n my youth, i could eat any and everything.. now.. not so much. i am still here and staying as long as i can. i got kids, and grand kids to support.Comment

Yup, it matters, Kovalev will most likely not be at his strongest during the fight. Unfortunate but that is the bs and corruption of the sport.Comment

Don't think it will make a huge difference in the fight - believe Kov typically comes in 184-188, so it's very close.. but man, this looks sad. Canelo didn't want it.. but... there it is? Really? "Well, I guess since my manager insisted on it, I'll have to take it.. damn man!"
He just looks foolish, same with that 155 nonsense, draining helpless JCC Jr to 164, and when he gave up WBC to avoid G. He didn't need to do any of this.Comment
