    Seems pretty silly to me.

100% yes. Never agreed with it.

There should be no catchweights for title fights. Makes the title meaningless if the title holder beat a different version of a fighter everyone else in the division had to face.

Yes, but they should only not be allowed for title fights. All world title fights should be fought at the standard weight and not even an ounce less. If it is not a title fight any weight the two boxers agree to is OK by me. But all world title fights should be fought at the traditional weight.

I'd like overlapping weights in division or getting rid of minimums if catch is no longer an option.

I'm fine with them in theory, if it's a bridge to make a fight between two guys from two different weight classes, but then again...that's also what the "junior/super" weight classes were designed for.

A bridge, its a handicap to the guy coming down and there should not be handicaps in a head to head fight, if you issue a challenge and call out a bigger guy go to his weight or shut up.

It is too scientific today and fighters are more powerful and precise, a pound can kill you I dont agree with CWs at all.

and that's why I mentioned the super classes. Because before, a top middleweight and a top LHW could meet at 168. Now it's a division for people to avoid LHW.

Hell, I was watching an old Hager fight a few weeks ago, and one guy weighed in at 155 and the other at 158. You would never see that in a middleweight title fight these days. Both guys would be 159.9lbs at the weigh in, and be 180+ in the ring.

                  That's a good idea.

Yes, especially when fans of fighter who requested cw claim the win is great?
If you win cw fight its not a great win.
