Wonder what he'd be saying if Nelo was his fighter......

28 y/o Rocky is given big props for beating up shot 37 y/o Joe
29 y/o Nelo moves up and fights a 35 y/o champ and Nelo is a cherry picker....

Instant replay has saved so many games and plays/blown calls. I don’t know how a sport can do without it. Then there’s boxing, with no replay available for judges/refs, and it suffers miserably because of that. It’s something that would have to be implemented by athletic commissions, not promoters or sanctioning bodies. Or it would have to be implemented by a superstar boxer like Mayweather started the blood tests for big fights. Canelo, Wilder or Joshua will have to be the pioneers of that. These boxers have to step their game up.

honestly, nobody outside of white people who hold onto marciano like Jesus, really gives him credit for beating an old Joe Louis. So bringing up an excuse from decades and decades ago to defend Canelo fighting a slew of 35 and older fighters is lame. Canelo has been very strategic in his opponent selection, especially after getting the generous decsison over Lara. He prefers his biggest name opponents to be 35 and over and any fighter who he takes on that is around his age pretty much is trash like Khan, Smith, Chavez Jr, and fielding. The only exception to that in the past 5 yrs has really been jacobs.

Agreed and Jacobs fight was CLOSE. I never saw a Canelo domination by any stretch of the imagination. Not sure what fight people were watching.

Lmao. Like they care. Floyd vs Canelo was his biggest fight... Everyone saw Canelo get outclassed and manage to get a draw scorecard.

If they had the audacity to pull that B.S. in a high profile fight vs someone bigger than Canelo i doubt they would care vs some Russian guy
