    That's a **** list, you trollin'?

1.) Rocky Marciano - greatest record in boxing history. Many men have tried, many men had weak eras, there is only one Rock. from 686BC to now there is only one man who ever went 49-0 in the HW division. In that time frame your excuses fall apart. Champion, Former-champion, Former-former champion, British champion, LHW champion, Euro champion, the prospect who invented rope-a-dope later used by Ali had his elbows broken, the prospect Ring picked for next HW when Nat was still picking himself got ktfo, the prospect from the west with a 55+ win streak, stopped. Nothing comes close to the shear dominance of Marciano. Also, his 925ft-lbs punch is a marvel of human ability.

2.) Bob Fitzsimmons - Retired more men than anyone else in the history of the HW division. The only MW to win the HW crown twice, beat a who's-who of his era. Defeated and ended the original p4p champion or boxing then moved on to KO not only the champ at HW but the champ in pretense as well. The Cornish Killer Ruby Robert is among the greatest to ever lace them up.

3.) Jim Jeffries - Drew with two of the best HW of his era by his 6th and 7th fights. Took out the former color champion Peter Jackson in his 9th, Stomped the pretense champion's ass in his 11th fight, whooped the colored champion in his next fight, then, moved on to defeat the champion in his 13th, one more for the pretense champ in his 14th, and the former champion in his 16th. Retired unbeaten and only ever lost years after his prime to a prime Jack Johnson.

4.) Gene Tunney - Cleared the division, only ever took one loss and handed it back.

5.) John L Sullivan - went 38-0 before his first draw, let me just explain, in boxing history we have ten unbeaten HW champions. 4 from the ancient era, 5 from bareknuckle, and Rocky for the modern. Of those five unbeaten HW champions in bare knuckle combined they don't even have 20 fight to boast. 38-0 is very impressive for a bare knuckle era fighter. His "Grand Tour" proved his dominance over the sport. His dominances was so great p4p was made up to juxtapose next to him.

    Sullivan woulda beat Nielsen's ass.

Ruiz gets a lesson from Tunney

    Vitali gets stopped by Jeffries

Marciano makes short work of Fury

Wlad was made for making Bob look like a superhero.

The guys you mentioned were dwarves. I mean, Marciano? The guy wouldn't even be a heavyweight today, but a light heavyweight. I honestly think Canelo would beat Marciano. Let the guy rest in peace, he doesn't belong in modern boxing discussions. I honestly imagine Nielsen pushing him into the ropes and hammering him for a 6th round stoppage...

You can't really name any to be honest. There hasn't been many.but the best ones where roided up guys like Vlad and Morrison fury basically all the European guys.but I would go way far back to were boxing was all natural before roids were invented then you'll have to give all the credit to Rocky Marciano

Who would win, 6'7 240 LB, grannite chinned 90% KO Ratio heavyweight or a 5'10 guy from 100 years ago? the mental gymnastics of the guys that worship these ancient boxers as if they are the greatest thing ever since sliced bread when we can just look up the old videos from these guys and can deduce that they can't box in the modern world.

You cannot compare who would win today, that would be unfair to yesteryear champs. You can compare tho who achieved what - and champs of uesteryear such as Dempsey or Tunney achieved hell more than such Furys or Ruizes. Ruiz is a joke in that list anyhow.

If you choose e.g. the best soccer player of all times guys such as Pele or Cruyff would be almost always mentioned, no matter that today they would look poor comparing to Ronaldo or Messi.
