    Indeed!

As a Canelo fan, I didn't blindly buy it, but as you mentioned, Kovalev is still considered a top guy at 175.

What makes the fight interesting is Kovalev didn't have much time to ruin his body between fights since he just fought 2 months ago.

I'm sure he's also getting paid handsomely, so that should be motivation to train harder and earn what could possibly be his last big payday against what the sport considers a superstar.

      ???

I thought this was a turning point fight for kovalev? one of those fights that you either Retire or keep fighting based on the outcome!!

I i understand its a big risk for canelo because of the size difference ill give canelo that, but i never heard of him being the best at 175 untill now!!

But no one would have a problem if Canelo said Kovalev is the most accomplished, the most tested, the most well known LHW, and the fighter that would generate the most interest by fans to watch/sub to DAZN. Yes, Beterbiev and maybe Gvozdyk, would be greater challenges to Canelo, but that doesn’t make Kovalev an easy fight just because there are better fighters Canelo can fight at 175. I think Kovalev is the 3rd best there but I understand Gvozdyk’s loss brings him up to #2 by default but I think Gvozdyk is still better.

Now the truth: "We HANDPICKED Kovalev because he's 36 and ready to take the bonus to throw the fight, just like Golovkin. Kovalev has to pay off two women he assaulted so he needs the money."

He is the biggest Name at 175 though and that is not even debatable

A very unfriendly month of November for Kovalev, looses to Canelo & looses in the court of law...going to jail with broken ribs!
