so if wlad is the best heavyweight?

then why does no one care? this is not a hate thread by the way because i have nothing against wlad, but the heavyweight division is regarded as the marque division, and we have a best, yet no one cares. is it just that he has to prove it first? do we need a little more time? i think he hasn't proven himself yet, and maybe we should give it a couple of years or so. but, if he never gets the chance to fight any of the other "champs" then no wonder no one gives a **** about this division anymore. whatever happened to the best fighting the best?

Calvin Brock would get destroyed. A better trained, and more mature, Samuel Peter has the biggest chance of anyone IMO.

at this point everyone is just tossing out names of who "might" best be able to beat wlad.

the reality is there is nobody with better than say a 20 percent chance of pulling it off, and i have to believe 20 percent is only for select few guys like brock, peter and toney.

shannon briggs has a 3.2 percent chance of beating wlad

....He's considered the best but he still has something to prove and some belts to unify IMO. Once he does that then it will become clear and undisputed and he will become the household name he was always meant to be.

Calvin ain't ready for Wlad, I doubt he ever will be.
I agree Peter would have a chance, but with his weight
problem, I doubt he'll ever be in good enough shape to put
            any consistent pressure on Wlad.

Until there is a unified champion, then the best HW and the #1 HW and all of those titles will have the same mediocre ring to them. It's Champion that everyone wants to hear. And the first guy to win a title unification will be the Ring champion and the HW champion, and then whoever it is will receive a lot more love.

If Calvin Brock caught Wlad with a good shot Wlad would be done. Wlad doesn't have a good chin, and Wlad only has a fair height advantage over Brock.

He's still gotta prove himself. He got KO'd twice a couple of years ago, hasnt fought the best comp out there, and although he deserves credit for beating Byrd like he did, he was a small HW who was past his prime. Until he beats the best, there will be doubts. And fighting Shannon "The Cannon" Briggs is not helping.

You think fighting Brock would prove more than fighting Briggs?
