Does Kov box well punching down at a much smaller guy? Kov is big strong, consistant.... however i feel Canelo defense is under rated and will play a big part, Kov has a persistent nightmare of a jab but I dont think its got the snappy speed required to keep canelo off, each time kov misses canelo will step inside and rip 4-5 shots to head and body which eventually will take there toll in the later part of the fight. I think canelos defense will shine most in this fight. Still a tough night for both guys, and Canelo will have to be on his game every minute of every round.

All these haters, can't appreciate the fact that Canelo is jumping 2 weight classes to fight a guy that has all of the advantages over him. There hasn't been anyone successful to jump 2 weight classes, since Shane Mosley did against Oscar in the late 90's or early 2000's? Don't hate and learn to appreciate. GGGift never has done something like this, because he doesn't dare to risk for greatness. Canelo is the face of boxing weather you like it or not, learned to live with it because is the best thing going around. Enjoy the fight haters!!!!!

This is not the WWE, boxing is a sport where the 2 combatants put their lives on the line, why should they hate each other? Look back at the great rivalries and 90% of them where on friendly terms. it should definitely make kovalevs punches feel much more heavier and stronger because of gravity.also will help with stamina because punching down is less exhausting as punching up (like canela will have to do) because of gravity again.

canela getting beat up bad in this. he won't be the same fighter after the beating he will sustain plus moving back down.
