I agree with you, Canelo’s calling card is great head movement and ring generalship. He also has a great chin as well. I don’t rate him as an ATG (at least not yet), but he definitely has a good shot at weathering or avoiding Kovalev’s attacks.

He has good head movement and a great chin but he can be hit flush in the mouth by power punches and has been lots of times. Canelo has a great chin and takes a punch very well. Kovalev has KOed some very good light heavyweights and they don't call him crusher for nothing. Kovalev KOing Canelo seems very possible. Kovalev might land a perfect straight right to Canelo's jaw and then we will see what happens.Comment

Im just curious to see which style Canelo comes out to. If he fights like he did in GGG 1 he will lose. I think he needs to fight like he did with Danny Jacobs (head movement, slipping, rolling, effective countering). Kovalev needs to be himself and use distance and that great jab of his. Which ever fighter gets tired first will lose this fight imo. Im 50/50 with this fight as well as the Diaz vs Masvidal.Comment
